The 7 Spirals of Homecoming

🌀✨ Behold the second Heartkemy cocreation artifact. Celebrating Rafael's first entirely hand-poked tattoo ✨🌀

From Listen to Heal, from the first intuitive body-painting to the last dot of pigment, this piece emerged through the cocreative alchemical journey developed for Heartkemy, following the steps of the Magnum Opus. There was no pre-designed sketch. The design was discovered and then, once the foundation was laid, purified into its essence. With its 4 runes and 7 spiral-like shapes crafted on golden-ratio proportions, Rafael incorporated fluorescent accents next to a soft brown tone (replacing the traditional black tattoo ink).

The four runes (Laguz ᛚ, Othala ᛟ, Kenaz ᚲ, Gebo ᚷ) were not deliberately chosen. Surprisingly, they revealed a striking synchronicity with Amandine's path: the flow (life-force) returns to its source (home), lights up, and finally is shared as a gift.

The whole process unfolded in Amandine's home. Working inside her own space became a sacred container for the work and deepened the process.

The journey included a Fermentation break where life carried the work further, well beyond the sessions. When Amandine and Rafael returned to the project and began working on the skin, they spent about 12 to 16 hours doing hand-poked dotwork, spread over two days. Some moments were calm; others were intense: pain, emotional release, laughter, overwhelm, and finally a quiet landing.

For both of them, this project became more than a tattoo. The synchronicities and the effortless creative unfolding were a strong confirmation: when the process is fully trusted, the design reveals itself, the symbolism falls into place, and the alchemy quietly does its work.
